Hello

Just recovering after the Albert Hall gigs - what a blast and thanks to all of you who attended. We filmed the Thursday show, so if you were there, you might catch a glimpse of your very own face. During my tenure, the nice people at the Albert let me up in the roof. It's amazing up there, and you get right up into the cupola, the dome if you will, and walk out over the stalls 130 feet up on a bit of mesh, which has been there since 1878. That is Victorian mesh, none of your cheap tat. It's slightly unnerving looking down between your feet and seeing tiny keyboards, tiny seats, such as a kestrel might look at a vole.

Preparations are now underway for Tinselworm's West End jaunt. As we speak, bouzoukis are being tuned, lights are being tweaked, and I am being expertly groomed to emerge resplendent onto the stage of the newly refurbished Gielgud Theatre. It holds about 976 I think, so compared to the windswept vastness of arenas it will feel a bit cosier, which suits me fine.

See you there
BB
